La Val Mastallone termina il suo lungo e tortuoso percorso dividendosi in due. Da una parte Fobello, città natale di Vincenzo Lancia, fondatore dell'omonima casa automobilistica, dall'altra Rimella, un piccolo paesino in una valle stretta e selvaggia.

Tra le frazioni spicca San Gottardo, uno dei borghi più belli d'Italia, secondo il FAI

The Mastallone Valley ends its long and tortuous course by parting into two. One way brings to Fobello village, birthplace of Vincenzo Lancia, the founder of the car house holding the same name.

The other way leads to Rimella. Rimella is a small village built at the end of a very narrow and wild valley. It's composed by a number of hamlets scattered along the mountain sides, connected by narrow paths and today by an asphalt road ending to San Gottardo hamlet.
